North Carolina’s giant Food Distribution and Supermarket Chains parent company, Alex Lee, embarked on a program aimed at its several thousand employees – with the express goal of inviting ideas on innovation…what unique, inspirational and cost-effective ideas might emerge from the employee pool that could help to groqw the business.
Juice was called in to help develop potential themes as well as an holistic approach on how to solicit ideas; communication tools to make submissions as easy as possible; winners’ announcements; and more.
The result was Sparx. A highly successful campaign that ignited 4 other specialty innovation programs, all under the “Sparx” banner. Today’s Sparx Award winners are championed throughout the enterprise, a clear demonstration of the value Alex Lee places on employee participation.
